Happy Birthday!

“it’s our birthdays once again”. That’s right…We have back to back birthdays. This author’s is today and Pats is tomorrow. At fifty eight I rather like the old English proverb “The older the fiddler, the sweeter the tune” or, at least, that’s what I keep telling myself. Pat, being much younger than me of course, doesn’t have to worry about this aging process just yet. As many of you know she, being the proverbial “gold digger” , married an older man. Have no doubt; she quickly realized there was no gold! Turns out is was simply "the man" she was after! Yea, yea, yea……..OK…so I still live in denial. You can stop chuckling now. Anyway…she’s in Charleston and I’m here in Roatan. Not really the way we’d like it but we get by nonetheless. I’m going to Marble Hill Farms tonight with friends. Pat’s sister (Debbie) is in Charleston and I’m confident they’ll celebrate accordingly!! We're another year older, not sure how much wiser; but positive we’re on the right course.
