| A day at the pool! |
Sunday was one of those hot, sunny and breezy days. Sometimes we look for a slight diversion from our "work a day" lives (Ok, OK...sorry!). This day it was decided to head down island to the Oasis Bar and Resturant. Turned out to be a fabulous day. I normally don't subscribe to the "pool side chaise lounge" crowd but decided "what the hell". Eight of us met at the Oasis to enjoy the poolside resturant (complete with swim up bar). I haven't been in a pool for, at least, two years that I can remember. I must admit....it was great! Cool water, sunny, good friends, cold beer and a cheeseburger to die for. They manage to obtain USDA Black Angus beef and craft a mean bleu cheese burger. The best I've had since leaving the states. The afternoon slowly passed, we headed home and settled into a quiet night and a movie aboard. Another good day.
