el Presidente Hotel, Cozumel.

We'll here we are, again, with weather pinning us down! Unfortunately a stronger cold front is coming through the Yucatan Channel bringing 30 - 40knt winds and large seas. This makes anchoring (in Cozumel) impossible. So we went to "plan B". HB will not cross over to Cozumel. That means we took the water taxi over and met up with family at the el Presidente Hotel. Seems we've given up the cruising lifestyle (and budget) temporarily! We have a room for two nights and it's quite a property. We're in the lap of luxury. Reminds us of days of old when we traveled "Ameracano" style without much regard for cost! No matter....it's fun and always great to see Debbie, Randy and the boys! Later this morning I'll return the scooter which we rented to get around yesterday. The wind and seas are building as clouds and rain begin. We'll watch the weather build from the protection of a great palapas beach bar. Tomorrow we hope to have better weather and spend some time in the water. So that's it for now. Stay well.......
